ILOITO Gamaguchi Purses

Here are the new collection from ILOITO arrived earlier this month. New designs for the "handkyscarf" that can be used as not just as handkerchief and scarf but as wrapping cloth, bento-wrap, place mat, or as a little bag folded with the furoshiki techniques, are all so lovely and cheerful perfect for the coming season!

Newly introduced for this collection are the beautiful Gamaguchi Purses. Gamaguchi is purses, wallets and bags that have metal clasp that are frequently seen in the Japanese traditional style. These Gamaguchi Purses by ILOITO are great for keeping your travel essentials, cosmetics, daily necessaries such as mobile phone, wallet, lipstick, etc. Also great for a party bag. Each bag has different fabric lining.

NEW WASHI TAPES - ZWILLINGE CALLIGRAPHY & KLEISTERPAPIER SERIES

Newly launched and added to our great washi tape selection last week are these beautiful Kleisterpapier & Calligraphy series designed by a pair of Japanese artists Zwillinge who creates beautiful patterns using the German Kleisterpapier (decorative paste paper/stencil print) technique.

Excellent for gift wrapping, collages, scrapbooking, and all craft projects. All individually packaged, so they would be great for gift too.

PERMANENT - "MAKE, EAT, THINK" FOOD CULTURE SMALL PRESS MAGAZINE

I am very excited to introduce this charming small press from Fukuoka, Japapn called PERMANENT

PERMANENT is a quarterly small press magazine published by two art directors in Fukuoka, south island of Kyushu, focusing on food and dining culture and lifestyle while having the keywords "Make, Eat and Think / つくる、たべる、かんがえる" as a concept. Think from the simple daily dining scenes, how and where things we eat are made/produced, who are involved behind it - they interview people and tell us in this A5 size small press with incredibly beautiful photography and make us think and be inspired. One of their serial features "Coffee and People" which they interview coffee maker/roasters is a great read!

Although it's written in Japanese you'd be able to enjoy flipping through every page looking at the beautiful pictures and layout. You can watch these amazing videos below that follow contents of each issue.
