AIRVASE "Bauhaus" and "Space" by TORAFU Architects and Mikiya Takimoto

Airvase is an amazing work of art designed by TORAFU Architects, one of the most innovative firms in Tokyo.
These vases in cut and shaped paper can be used as decorations, as a container, waste basket, gift-wrap and so on. You can create their desired shape by drawing out the various edges of the sheet of perforated paper to a greater or lesser extent. The coloured motifs or colours on each face create a different visual impression depending on the way in which the paper is shaped and the angle from which it is viewed.

These 2 new designs "BAUHAUS" and "SPACE" were created in collaboration between TORAFU and photographer Mikiya Takimoto. Photographs of space shuttles and the legendary German design school building are printed on each face of the airvase creating beautiful 3D images. Simply beautiful!

SANDWICH TAGS. These are one of the most exciting new products to find and stock in the UGUiSU online store! I had never seen anything like these, I had never seen any more unique and amazing sticky notes than these before I found the SANDWICH TAGS. Seriously!

With the SANDWICH TAGS you can easily turn books into delicious looking sandwiches, but I mean not just for decorating but these awesome sandwich tags can be used as sticky notes which means you can write on them and use as book markings etc.

These SANDWICH TAGS are made with a very special cutting out technique by an exclusive Japanese paper processing company. Each sheet is printed on both sides and oh do they look real! Even packaged just like the real bacon and vegetables sold at supermarkets!

Kita no Moyo-cho Masking Tapes!! (NEW!)

"Kita no moyo-cho" new designer's series masking tapes are the most popular washi tapes at UGUiSU at the moment, have you all checked them yet?

"Kita no moyo-cho" literally means "Pattern notebook of the North" and it is designed by a Hokkaido based Japanese textile designer Rieko Oka. Rieko has won a mina perhonen design award in the past and her designs are lovely and warm, exciting, so fresh and adorable! Available in singles, a pair with a beautiful letterpress card, and 3 colour sets. Getting few in stock but the new stock will arrive soon!
