UGUiSU ON FRANKIE!!

Last week I was SO thrilled to see this post on Frankie magazine blog featuring UGUiSU! I have always been a huge fan of Frankie and so this was truly a real happy surprise. What they wrote about UGUiSU is so cute I just can't read it without a huge smile on my face!

This is what they say:

Whoops. We just spent a lot of money. But that's okay, we don't blame Japanese homewares and craft store Uguisu - sure, they made a dint in our pay packet, but it was more so the ticket to Tokyo they accidentally encouraged us to buy that was the problem. Why can't they make that plane flight shorter so we could pop over there for the weekend?
Blow-up paper balloons in the shape of giant strawberries, stunning origami paper, loads of furoshiki wrapping cloths and more varieties of washi tape than Pantone have colour swatches: seriously guys, they have everything.
Be warned: if you click here, your miso soup will be cold by the time you hit the back button. It's that good.

Mentioned in a Danish Interior magazine BoligLiv

Some of the items from UGUiSU online store were included in the DIY feature about gift wrapping in a danish Magazine called BoligLiv (I think it's our second appearance in this lovely magazine?)

In these photos you see a lovely wrapping paper by a Kyoto based artist Kozue Natsuko. The design it was featured in the magazine has already sold out but other designs are going to be restocked this weekend!

Art Paper {Snow Rabbits}

The new issue of the lovely Australian magazine Paper Runway included some of the items from UGUiSU in the pages of their wonderfully selected and styled paper goods stationery features. This issue looks like a really nice one and if you are a stationery/paper goods fan you should definitely check it out!

The gorgeous artwork on the cover is by amazing MR Yen, and illustrations on the page shown in the second image above is by a Tokyo based lovely artist Grace Lee!

UGUiSU mention in a magazine!

I am so excited that UGUiSU was mentioned in a magazine for the first time!!!
And it's a Norwegian interior magazine called Design Interiør.
I am totally thrilled! (I have no idea what it says though..haha)
